Sustained Life, Inc.

Food Is Medicine • Body, Mind, Soul.

She spent 39 years investigating fraud, waste, and abuse. Now she is applying that to food insecurity.

Sophia Loren Blake retired in 2023 after a federal career specializing in fraud, waste, and abuse investigations and digital forensics. In 2018, she founded Sustained Life on a conviction shaped by real conversations — the ones she has, every 2nd and 4th Saturday, with neighbors facing food insecurity and diet-related disease. That work has grown into a pantry initiative that served 655 families and 4,318 individuals in 2025 alone.
